Frequently asked questions
I need a fence. Where to start?
Before installing a fence, you first need to know the boundaries of your property. You can contact the Registry Center or surveyors who perform detailed land measurements for this matter. Going beyond your property boundary and constructing a fence on your neighbor's or state-owned land may result in a fine and an obligation to dismantle the fence.
What type of posts to choose?
There is a wide variety of fence posts available on the market – metal, clinker, masonry, fence blocks, and more. Therefore, the choice will depend on your preferences and budget. The cheapest options are probably galvanized and painted metal posts. Depending on your budget, you can combine several types of posts, for example, choosing clinker for the front side and using metal posts for the remaining edges.
What type of metal posts to choose?
Recommended dimensions for metal posts:
60x40 mm (wall thickness 2 mm)
80x80 mm – pedestrian gate post (wall thickness 3 mm)
100x100 mm – driveway gate posts (wall thickness 3 mm)
Is a foundation necessary for the fence?
A foundation is necessary for the fence when:
There are level changes on the property, and it is necessary to shape the land's height – it is recommended to pour a continuous foundation (retaining wall).
There are no pavers – it is recommended to pour a continuous foundation or install a suspended foundation.
Clinker, masonry or fence blocks are being installed – they require a base.
When pouring a continuous foundation or a retaining wall, should metal posts be mounted in the concrete simultaneously ?
If you plan to install a fence on this foundation or continuous wall, it is recommended to mount the metal posts directly into the concrete. However, if the posts are not embedded in the concrete, you can use metal posts with anchor plates. It is important to note that anchoring posts is not recommended for driveway gates and pedestrian gates.

What type of fence to choose?
First, you need to decide whether you want to provide privacy for the area around your house or prefer to keep it more open.
Fences that provide privacy: Aras, Eglė Premium, Lux, Piramidė, and two-sided Svajonė Vertical.
For more open areas, the following are suitable: medium-density Aras, Elegante Premium, Polisad, Fortis, and one-sided Svajonė Vertical.
How to assess the budget required for fence installation?
You can estimate the preliminary budget by using fence calculators or by sending an inquiry to our managers.
What kind of sheet metal do you use?
For fence production, we use sheet metal from various manufacturers, such as Balex, Ruukki, Krupp, Bratex, and others. We most commonly use matte polyester or wood imitation sheet metal, with a thickness of 0,45- 0,5 mm.
What distances should be maintained between the posts?
The recommended distances between posts are 2-2.5 meters.
What type of driveway gates to choose?
First, you should assess what driveway width will be sufficient for you. The minimum recommended width is 3.5 meters. If the entrance is challenging, it is advisable to choose a wider driveway of 4.0 meters or more.
Swing gates (double-leaf) are an excellent choice when the driveway width does not exceed 4.0 meters.
Sliding gates are recommended when the planned driveway width is more than 4.0 meters.
Is special preparation necessary for gate automation?
Sliding gate automation requires both a foundation and an electrical connection. For double-leaf (swing) gates, a foundation is not necessary, but an electrical connection is essential.

Can the automation be controlled via a phone?
Yes, indeed. You can choose control via phone (GSM module) or the internet (Wi-Fi). The gate automation can be controlled both by remote controls and GSM/Wi-Fi modules – they do not interfere with each other.
IMPORTANT! When installing the GSM module, a SIM card is required with the PIN code removed, call forwarding deactivated, and active internet. You should also prepare the administrator and regular user phone numbers in international format, +3706xxxxxxx.
